Artist Statement
Megan Roseman is an abstract landscape artist living in Seattle, WA. She established Walking Craft Studio in 2023 as a home for her artworks. Her vivid and expressive paintings come to life primarily with watercolors but she has recently incorporated other media into her compositions. Her artwork draws inspiration from the natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, desert landscapes of her childhood in California, and places she has traveled. She brings together the seen and unseen elements of the world around us, connecting to the emotional energy we find in place.
Megan has presented her work in several shows in the Seattle area in 2024 and 2025. She participated in the PhinneyWood Art Walk and collaborated with local small businesses to bring her art to their spaces. She has created six collections and is working on a new collection of fiber art pieces for 2025.
